Bella Chen (b. 1989, China) is a Los Angeles-based Romanticism artist known for her dynamically detailed oil paintings featuring California landscapes. Through textured paint, exquisite brushworks and meticulous layering, Chen aims to accentuate nature’s beauty and strength, mirroring the journey of pursuing one’s dreams.

Chen’s professional background as a psychotherapist inspired her to pursue her childhood dream of being an artist. She believes that at any age and stage, when we embrace our authentic selves by pursuing our dreams, we transcend limitations and discover true happiness. Chen's highest goal is to inspire viewers to recognize their own beauty and potential in the objects she paints, such as palm trees and birds fearlessly reaching for a limitless sky, so that they too can follow their own calling courageously.
